Where to Pre-Order Your Thanksgiving Dinner in Franklin, TN.

There’s no skirting around it. The holidays are here and we all should definitely be celebrating any and every occasion we can, because 2020 has plum worn us out! I don’t know about you, but as much as I want to celebrate, I’ve been thinking of getting a little help.
Being newer to TN, we have not had the opportunity to have a big Thanksgiving dinner party. All our family is on the East Coast or West Coast. We’ve even tried to invite those we thought had no family, but alas, we are always left with just the four of us around the table (except for the one year we hosted a Chinese exchange student). I’m a good cook, dare I say “Foodie,” but the idea of cooking for nearly two days for only 4 people is not my idea of ANY celebration, especially this year. I make everything from scratch, no pre-bought anything. That’s just the way my family has always done it, no premade pie crusts, no store bought rolls, no canned cranberry sauce…legit. Although, my grandfather always demands the cranberry jelly in the can, and grandpa always gets what grandpa wants.
This year, I am playing with the idea of letting someone else do the dirty work, why not? Smoked turkey?! Mac and cheese?! (which I don’t make) Turnip greens?! (which I don’t know how to make) The South has been practicing for Thanksgiving dinner pretty much everyday of the year!
If you have decided you want a break in 2020, I have compiled a list of local options that are sure to deliver a delicious Thanksgiving meal.
